They meet up at the cafe to do their DNA test. The DNA test would tell them what culture they are and their cultural history.
They went on a waka to Mahia to go see Nathan's mother which they were going to see his mother to look at his DNA test.
He was with his mother and they looked at his DNA results together. And found out some interesting facts about his past families past, and history.
Oscar and Nathan went to Samoan to go to Oscars village where they opened his DNA test results with his mother. When they looked at the dna test they found out about his descents and where they came from.
They went to Vanuatu where they ended up meeting a archaeologist where he showed them about the lapita pottery and all about how he found multiple dead bodies without any head. He believes that it was a tradition to take the heads from the dead family member and put it in their house for decor.
They soon went to Taiwan and found out where their origins came from and where Polynesians too. After they ate they ended up going to a place full of cultural art. Oscar and Nathan went to a place where it showed all the Polynesians people and this is where their journey came to an end.

Made In Taiwan

Made In Taiwan
WALT: Find out where Polynesians came from.

We were learning about Ocsar and Nathan's history such as where did Polynesians came from and about their home and where they grew up.

It was a document about where the Polynesians came from and personally yes I do think that other students in New Zealand should watch this since its very interesting and it tells us about our culture and where we came from. It talks about
lapita pottery, history, about our ancestors etc, which can help with knowing more about New Zealand and the
pacific islands.

Bonus fact: Lapita was used between 1600 and 500 bce.
