Lock Down Drill

Lock Down DRILL!
WAL: Prepare for a disaster

Today we had a Lock Down Practice. The first thing we did was go to the hall so Mrs Kelly can tell us what's going to happen and when. These drills are every important mostly because you'll never know when a shooting or natural disaster is going to happen!

After the mini assembly we headed back to class and carried on with our work. It was about to go to 10:20 so Mr J told us what was going to happen. But in mid sentence the bell rang, off and on off and on, that was the signal. We quickly ran under the table and lied down. This took about 15 minutes and I already was getting bored, but because it was going to save my and others people life I still went through with it. A while has passed and all I heard was a big BANG! And some kids screaming, I was confused but maybe something just fell down, like the chair. A few minutes later it was over, Mr ready came to our class saying "Thanks guys, the Lock down drill is over. Thanks Mr J for responding quickly" We all sat up and carried on with our work.
