Kuri - Dogs

Kuri - Dog
Many years ago where there were only Māoris in New Zealand.
They would travel to find new lands, but they’re were never alone.
They usually bring their Kuri which are dogs. The dogs were used
to confront them and to find food, but sometimes the Maoris will
eat the dog if they couldn’t find food. The Kuri is really good hunters
and their wool will protect them from when they have fights or something.
If I had the opportunity to wear the cloak it would probably will a little
hard but in some spots it would feel nice a fluffy.

During our reading session we found out that Tāneatua lost some
of his Kuri which were left in different parts of New Zealand.
He even threw his dog over a cliff which they even called it Whakataka
which means to throw off.

Scientist are trying to discover what Kuri looks like and what they eat,
\ and trying to figure out how they treated the environment, Scientist Dr
Priscilla is the one behind this.

Why did the Kuri disappear? Wella Calling to the text I found out
that the Kuri were so over popularity that the people didn’t really
like them because they would scare away the sheep, which made
a lot of the puppies were wild which made them kill a lot of the
animals to stay alive.
